Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities that are available for them. Extracurricular activities are educational activities not falling within the scope of the regular curriculum.

SLC members will be working throughout the school year on projects of their choosing. So far, they have chosen to improve the school library and student culture. We will be meeting on Nov. 30 to discuss school culture more and how we can work to improve it.

Theater Club meets every Tuesday after school. Inspired by the great plays and musicals put on by High School Drama.

EnGedi After School ProgramTop of Page

EnGedi is a Partner in Education with the Cedar Springs Public Schools and provides many valuable resources for our students 6th-8th Grades after school Monday through Thursday 2:15 PM - 5:15 PM. EnGedi is located in the Red Hawk Elementary Building.    

  • Receive assistance on homework
  • Video games, board games, pool table and more
  • Instruction in various sports
  • Signup for art and music classes
  • Complimentary snack from CSPS Food Service Department 

Students are fully supervised during the entire time they are present at EnGedi. Below is the handbook which is designed to introduce you to the program, outline policies and procedures, and answer any questions you may have. A completed application is required in order for students to attend. The application is located at the end of the handbook. Turn in completed application to the Red Hawk Elementary or Middle School office staff.
